Spring has sprung, almost. The farm is very green, likely because of the heavy rains last week. Luckily, the weather cleared up in time for a beautiful early spring wedding. This group came in from Winston Salem for a 2 night rental in the venue celebrating their rehearsal dinner on Friday as well as their Ceremony and reception on Saturday. Camel City Grill Food Truck came in on Friday night for the rehearsal. The group then stayed late to finish preparing for Saturday. On Saturday, Publix catering came and provided some cocktail hour food as well as the cake. Bib’s catering was also on hand for the main course. The bride and her sister had placed all of the flowers and decorations themselves on Friday night. The ceremony was out on the outdoor patio using the white chairs, while the reception was in the outdoor covered area, using the brown chairs and round tables. Indoors, they used the rectangular tables to set up for favors, cake, hors d’ouevres, tea/water. There was also some additional indoor seating available. The bar was set up in the pool area. In the covered area, we set up our stage and dance floor so that Soul Jam could begin setting up for their performance during the reception. After dinner, the group made s’mores using the outdoor fire pit.
