Best View from your bed in the Lodge, and the best view of Pilot Mountain in the Lodge. The view, the private balcony, the king bed, the clawfoot tub, the walk in shower, and the bathroom chandelier make this room a deluxe experience.
This room is upstairs on the second floor of the Big Creek Lodge in beautiful Westfield, NC. In addition to the deluxe amenities, this room also has satellite TV and wi-fi, in room coffee, soaps, shampoos, and of course sheets and towels. You will also have access to the Lounge areas in the Big Creek Lodge. There are miles of hiking trails, a pond, lots of wildlife, beautiful sunrise views, and beautiful moon views.
Our restaurant, The Big Creek Lodge, is available Thursday evening - Sunday afternoon. Reservations are recommended but not required for on property guests. Guests can make a reservations at lunastrail.com.
The Lodge has an event center downstairs which sometimes hosts large, private events, so please ask ahead if one of these may affect your stay.
If no one rents the night before, then check-in time is flexible. If no one rents the night after, then check-out time is flexible.
Although the restaurant and event spaces are handicap accessible, unfortunately, we were not able to install an elevator in the building for the residential bedrooms upstairs due to cost issues, so please consider this if you may need one. We do have cabins on site that may be better suited for those needing further assistance.
Out of courtesy to our other guests, we do not allow gatherings or loud noises upstairs in the rooms after 9:30 PM.
