We were fortunate to have two weddings this weekend and even more so to enjoy excellent weather for both the Saturday and Sunday weddings. The Sunday group actually came in on Saturday evening and rented the Hanging Rock Cabin for their rehearsal dinner while the Saturday wedding took place down in the venue. We brought some tables and chairs up and put them on the front porch to add some extra seating for the dinner. The next morning, they began their set up for the outdoor wedding just in front of their cabin with the view of Hanging Rock. This group of around 60 took advantage of their smaller numbers and actually rented antique chairs for the ceremony. We brought up our arbor for the ceremony, and Willow Florals out of Greenville, SC helped add the flowers to it. We provided some speakers and microphones for the live music during the ceremony. After that, the guests continued on down the hill to the venue for the reception. They used the indoor area for food, drinks, as well as a recording area in which people could record video messages for the bride and groom. They ate in the outdoor covered area using two rows of rectangular tables lined up end to end on both sides of the dance floor, with a table for the bride and groom in the middle. They used our house sound system for the reception music played through the groom’s cell phone.
