This year, our blackberries are really on the move. We have just transplanted 82 blackberry plants from the back of the farm up to the front of the property. This will put these in close proximity to the blueberries.
Of course both blueberries and blackberries are available for U-Pick. We are also planning on adding strawberries later in the year. It’s a fruit salad right in your basket! We’re also planning on adding a noninvasive species of elderberries and perhaps some olives in the fall.
Just come on to the farm, pay Nathan or AJ, and “u pick” until your heart is content. We’re doing these all organically, but you’ll be able to get a great price since we’re just starting out. Please stay tuned to the website!
By the way, we’ve also been busy getting a new irrigation system ready for the u-pick area. It will be complete late this summer.
