Welcome to our New Staff!

Please join us in welcoming the two newest members of our staff, Nathan and AJ Wheeler. Nathan and AJ will be joining the invaluable Greg Priddy, who has been working with us since last summer.

Not only do these two have practical hands in the dirt experience with permaculture, they’ve attended training for this near Asheville a few years back. Nathan’s family is actually local to the Pilot Mountain area. His immediate plan is to start an organic, sustainable vegetable garden, and we’re in the process of finding the perfect spot for it. He is also planning on using some cattle and hogs to rejuvenate some of our fields that have become depleted over the years, using a rotational grazing process. We’re also going to rotate some goats through some forested areas, which will improve the health of our land there as well.

AJ is experienced in therapeutic massage, which we will also offer on the property soon!
