What a lucky group! It was 90 degrees the whole second half of this week, then, just before ceremony time, the clouds closed in and cooled things off for the outdoor event. By the time thunderstorms rolled in later that evening, they were already under cover having a good time. This group came in on Friday and decorated, then came in early Saturday to continue. The ceremony was held out on the back patio overlooking the meadow. They set up a dual slide show inside and outside on the house audio-visual system, which they played for the guests after the ceremony when the wedding party was taking pictures. The reception was then held in the covered area, and the indoor area was used as a seating option for those who wanted a more conditioned environment, as well as for the buffet from Bibs in Winston Salem. The front porch was used for corn hole, since all guests were entering to the ceremony from the back parking lot. Tiger Paw Entertainment was the DJ, and they were set up against the wall backing up to the parking lot. They encouraged their guests to use Eversnap (see picture) in order to combine everyone’s photos into one place after the event, which is a pretty good idea. They also had an “I spy” going on which encouraged guests to hopefully take some memorable photos.
