This group came in from Virginia, 220 people strong, to have an outdoor wedding by the lake followed by a cool reception indoors and under cover. They rented out Friday night for their rehearsal dinner, rented black linens for the tables, and had a food truck come serve Mexican food. They used our sound system for the music that night. They rented out two cabins and were able to hang out there after the festivities and were also able to get an early start on preparing for the Saturday afternoon ceremony. For the outdoor wedding, the group chose a spot in a field overlooking the lake. It was a strategic spot because the wedding party could use the Red Cabin to get ready, while most of the guests could still park at the venue and be only a short walk up to the ceremony. We provided transportation from the venue to the ceremony for those in need. After the ceremony, most guests enjoyed a short downhill walk to the venue, and the hosts provided food and drinks immediately while the wedding party finished up photos. The DJ and dance floor were set up outside, and the DJ used the house speakers. Throughout the ceremony, we provided muted Satellite TV so that the guests could keep up with all of the day’s football scores.
